From Nantes Airport: Leave the hire car depot and at the first roundabout turn left. At the next roundabout join the circular road, follow signs for BORDEAUX and continue as if you were on the circular road around Nantes above towards La Roche Sur Yon.

From ST-MALO / Port de la Naye (approx 2hours 45 hrs to Grande Landes) Follow the signs for "TOUTES DIRECTIONS" (All Directions) as you leave the port. Take the left at the first roundabout and follow signs for RENNES. From CAEN / Ouistreham (approx 3 hours 25 mins) Leave the port and follow signs for CAEN. Watch for the signs to RENNES / MONT-ST-MICHEL as these are easy to miss. You will be on the Caen ring road (périphérique nord) travelling anticlockwise. Follow signs for Rennes—note there are a number of right turns to watch out for and these are easily missed ! Join the A84 motorway and continue towards RENNES. |

RENNES As you approach RENNES look out for and follow the signs for NANTES.
NANTES look out for and follow the signs for BORDEAUX—staying on the dual carriageway you will cross over a large and scenic suspension bridge over the river Loire, travelling anti-clockwise around the circular road. Leave the circular road and take the Exit to BORDEAUX and La Roche Sur Yon on the A83. Take the first exit onto the D178 sign posted La Roche sur Yon. Follow the D937 in the direction of Rocheservière and Aizenay. Follow the D793 to Lege and continue through in the direction of Aizenay. After about 5 kilometres look out for the sign to Grand Landes leading off to the right. Turn right in the village onto ‘Rue du Calvaire’ - the main road through the village. |
